I want to talk to someone about my order.
If you have a query, please email us first at firstname.lastname@example.org . If you have a problem and you need to talk to someone, you can call the shop on +44 (0)20 7379 7866. The staff there will not be able to answer specific technical questions or stock enquiries but they will be happy to reassure you that we are a real shop and will hand your queries over to Louise who can contact you. Please be aware that the shop staff are on the shop floor and must give priority to customers in the store and so may not be able to spend a lot of time on the phone. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible to sort out any problems.
I want to order an item I saw in the shop that isn't on the website.
Please send us an email about the item you wish to order and we will check whether we have it in stock. If it is part of an order from the website it will be sent separately and postage costs charged separately. Postage times may vary from those quoted on the website.
I saw a toy on the website and when I came into the shop you didn't have it in stock.
We carry a much larger selection of toys in the shop than on the website however as the shop is small we only carry a small amount of each product. Items allocated for the website will not always be available in the shop. If you wish to come into the shop for a particular item it is best to call ahead to avoid disappointment. 020 7379 7866
The price on the website was different from the item in the shop.
Items will normally be the same price in the shop as on the website but sometimes we may do special offers on the website (remember that P&P will be added making it the same price or more as that in the shop) and sometimes the offer will be in the shop. Any price variations will be small and we reserve the right to change our prices. Items that carry VAT will have the 20% vat added into the total price.
Are your toys safe for children?
All toys for children must carry the CE mark. Usually toys are not suitable for under 3s unless marked. Some of our toys are for adult collectors and in this instance we will say.
We have tried to describe the items as accurately as possible with measurements of the goods and boxes. Sometimes with handmade and limited edition items – pictures and descriptions may vary. Please email us with any queries.
Are you connected to Pollock's Toy Museum in Fitzrovia?
No, we are a separate business. The Covent Garden shop was opened by the Museum in 1980 but has been run independently since 1988. We therefore have no connection with them apart from a friendly association. Visit Pollocks Toy Museum Website. It is run by the founder's grandson but split from the Museum trustees in 2004.
I would like to stock your items in my shop.
Please email us with details of your shop and your interests - we have a small selection of Pollock's stock available to buy for trade.
