Cinderella, a new Pollock’s Theatre by Lorenzo Gabini. Cinderella’s love dream can only be seen through moonlight or tears. Capturing the evanescent nature of Cinderella’s vision, the paper theatre by Lorenzo Gabini using the Pollocks archive cuts to the heart of Perrault’s story with a sense of style and drama.

Lorenzo Gabini has transformed an original Pollocks ‘Penny Plain’ Cinderella into a poetic homage to British set designer Oliver Messel.

Cinderella a new Pollock’s theatre,  to cut out, make, and collage is for anyone caught under the spell of all things past and grand.

The exquisite silver foiled folder contains eight art prints to cut out and assemble and a packet of vintage silver scraps to collage and decorate your paper theatre. A booklet of instructions with an introduction by Gabini is included. Designed and printed on offset litho in London, half a mile from the original Victorian Pollock’s Shop. 

Advice on age and difficulty level: The theatre is simple to construct. It is intended as a creative project to collage. We would recommend it for older children 12+  and adults.
