A fully playable wooden toy theatre. This is a traditional sustainable toy made sustainable wood from deep in the Czech mountains for Benjamin Pollock’s Toyshop with an updated scenic design from Pollock’s illustrator Hannah Dyson. The classic toy was developed by Tofa originally in the 1960s.
The box includes 2 x magnetic wands, 5 characters, reversible backdrop and side-wings with a castle interior and exterior along with a theatre base, stage and proscenium.

About Hannah Dyson
Having studied at the Royal College of Art, Hannah Dyson brought her knowledge and enthusiasm of Victorian animal illustrators such as Louis Wain to Benjamin Pollock’s Toyshop when she worked behind the counter in the 1990s. She now mixes her love of the rolling hills and mysterious natural world of her current home in Stroud, Gloucestershire with her magical, fantastical inner world of pixies, fairies, trolls and mischievous characters who she imagines you may meet when walking in the English countryside.
