Alongside his iconic designs for Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. John Macfarlane is known for his distinct reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece for Sir Peter Wright’s production of The Nutcracker at The Birmingham Royal Ballet.
This deluxe miniature paper theatre handmade in the UK by bespoke luxury paper creators ‘Cutture ‘ has been printed on 350 gsm card and comes complete with three sumptuous scenes, 10 exquisite characters and a magical Christmas Tree from The Nutcracker Ballet.
The theatre includes three scenes from The Nutcracker: Christmas Eve at The Stahlbaum House, The Land of Snow and The Kingdom of Sweets. Characters include King Rat, Drosselmeyer the Magician and Toymaker and the Sugar Plum Fairy. The double sided curtain features The Nutcracker Doll.
