Pinocchio toy theatre circus illustrated for Benjamin Pollock’s Toyshop by Hannah Dyson. ‘The Adventures of Pinocchio’ was written by Carlo Collodi and first published in Italy in 1881. The original story was a dark cautionary tale for children and very far from the animated film version that most of know and love. However, never fear this version tells the story through scene changes and characters with a happy ending!
The Pinocchio toy theatre circus is a complete story to cut-out and make. The pack contains 7 sheets with scenes from the Ringmaster’s marionette show, Toyland circus and Pinocchio rescuing Gepetto from the giant whale. Set up your theatre and reimagine the story with the characters included. Easy to follow instructions and a brief story are included. You will need scissors and glue to construct your theatre so whilst the completed theatre is suitable for young children of 3+, the cut-out and making needs to be done by an adult or supervised older child. We recommend this is as a sit down at the table project for adults and children to do together.
Cutting out paper models aids fine motor skills, eye hand coordination and visual perception in children. Constructing a paper theatre from start to finish will help with focus and attention and at the end of the project the child can fire up the imagination with a story in 3-D to play with.
Our products are not suitable for children under the age of 3, unless clearly shown.
