As well as our range of reproduction & contemporary toy theatres we also have an app for the iPAD which is now FREE to download from itunes. Currently it can only be used on an IPAD. The app is great for teachers studying 'The Victorians' or 'Theatre' & 'Drama' with students of all ages. It will introduce kids to the visuals and history of the Victorian Theatre. Perfect for budding playwrights - a scene can be created, performed and recorded, then played back using original Toy Theatre characters and scenes.
This first release of this app contains the scenery backdrops and characters for Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream" created by us from Peter Baldwin's archive of original Victorian Pollocks plays. The second release contains an in-app purchase of the Beckman Unicorn toy theatre with the original contemporary drawings by Robin Peoples. The play is Charles Dickens Great Expectations.

"A truly wonderfully magic concept and beautifully designed app - genius and authentic idea for a new generation of budding theatre lovers" - Ralph Fiennes, actor
