Paper artists Cutture have created a luxury pop-up card from John Macfarlane’s designs for The Nutcracker, staged by Sir Peter Wright at the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Delicately painted characters of The Sugar Plum Fairy, Drosselmeyer and King Rat can be moved in and out of the traditional Christmas scene surrounded by a halo of icy fronds.
The theatre comes with a double-sided curtain featuring The Nutcracker and John Macfarlane’s lavish red curtain. On the back is a space to write a message, making this a very special Christmas greeting.
